Dhaka, May 18, 2025: Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced the temporary suspension of flights on the Dhaka-Narita route effective from July 1.
The decision was communicated through a press release signed by ABM Raushan Kabir, General Manager of Biman’s Public Relations Department, on Sunday (May 18).
According to the press release, the suspension is due to ongoing Hajj operations, a shortage of aircraft, and commercial considerations. Consequently, no flights will operate on the Dhaka-Narita-Dhaka route until further notice, starting July 1.
Passengers who have purchased tickets for travel from Dhaka to Narita on or after July 1 will receive a full refund without any additional charges. Biman authorities have requested ticket holders to contact Biman’s sales offices, counters, or designated travel agents for refund procedures.
