All Gates of Secretariat Closed, Officers and Employees Continue Protest

Dhaka, May 26, 2025 – Officers and employees of the Secretariat continued their protest today, demanding the repeal of the "Government Service (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025." Like the past few days, demonstrators gathered in front of the Secretariat gates around 12:30 PM, leading to the closure of all entry points.

Law enforcement agencies initially closed Gates 1, 2, and 4. However, Gate 3 remained open, which the protesters forcibly shut down. The agitation was ongoing at the Secretariat as of 1:45 PM when this report was filed.
