Dhaka, June 18: In the last 24 hours, 28 new Covid-19 cases have been detected in the country, with a positivity rate of 9.09 percent. However, no deaths due to the virus were reported during this period. This information was shared in a regular press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Wednesday (June 18).
According to the press release, from 8 AM on Tuesday (June 17) to 8 AM on Wednesday (June 18), 308 samples were tested, resulting in the identification of 28 new cases. So far this year, seven people have died from Covid-19, and a total of 359 individuals have been diagnosed with the virus.
On the previous day, Tuesday (June 17), two deaths were reported due to Covid-19. The DGHS has urged the public to adhere to health guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.
