Sports Desk, June 03, 2025 : Aminul Islam Bulbul, the newly appointed president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), is set to travel to Australia to celebrate the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha with his family. According to family sources, the former national team captain will leave the country tonight (Tuesday). Since taking charge, Bulbul has been immersed in a hectic schedule, but he is now taking a break to join his wife and children, who have been residing in Australia for a long time.
However, the trip is not solely for personal reasons. Following the Eid holidays, Bulbul is scheduled to attend an important annual meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC), where he will represent the BCB. He is expected to return to Bangladesh after the meeting and resume his duties with full vigor.
Bulbul officially assumed the role of BCB president last Friday. A prominent figure in Bangladesh cricket during the 1990s, he has already created a positive impact with his proactive approach and plans for the board.
As he embarks on this journey to spend Eid with his family and represent Bangladesh on the international stage, all eyes are on whether Bulbul can replicate his on-field success in his new administrative role.
