In a recent joint operation by security forces in Khulna, two former Chhatra Dal leaders were arrested with illegal arms and drugs, leading to their immediate expulsion from the organization. Similarly, Shamim Hossain, former member secretary of Sharankhola Union Chhatra Dal, was apprehended with 270 pieces of yaba tablets.

A press release signed by Jahangir Alam, Central Office Secretary of Chhatra Dal, confirmed the expulsion of both individuals.
