A Dhaka court has ordered the imprisonment of AKM Sarwar Jahan Badsha, former Member of Parliament from Kushtia-1, in connection with the murder case of electrician Md. Ilias Hossain in Mohammadpur. The order was issued on Wednesday (April 18) by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Minhazur Rahman.
The investigating officer of the case, Sub-Inspector Md. Akkel Ali of Mohammadpur Police Station, presented the accused in court and requested his detention.
