Chief Adviser Performs Eid Prayer at National Eidgah

 

Dhaka, June 7, 2025: The Chief Adviser of the interim government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, offered the Eid-ul-Adha prayer at the National Eidgah today. The prayer, which commenced at 7:30 AM, was attended by several notable figures, including Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Adviser for Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperatives; Professor Dr. C.R. Abrar, Adviser for Education; and Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, Adviser for Power, Energy, and Communications.

The prayer was led by Mufti Mohammad Abdul Malek, the Khatib of Baitul Mokarram National Mosque. The Chief Adviser arrived at the Eidgah ground around 7:25 AM. Following the prayer, Mufti Mohammad Abdul Malek delivered the khutbah and offered supplications for the welfare of the nation and the Muslim Ummah. After the khutbah and munajat, the Chief Adviser sought prayers from the congregation for the prosperity of the country and its people.
