On November 12, 2024, Nobel allegedly lured her to his Demra residence under the pretext of showing her a studio, where she was held captive for seven months. She was subjected to physical assault, rape, and blackmail with recorded videos, reportedly with the involvement of 2-3 associates.
The victim’s ordeal came to light after a viral video showed Nobel dragging a woman down stairs, enabling her family to identify her. Her family, based in Tangail, contacted the National Emergency Service 999, leading to her rescue on May 19, 2025, at 9:30 PM. Nobel fled during the raid but was apprehended at 2:00 AM with technological assistance. Police revealed Nobel planned to flee the country, having rented a microbus.
Nobel gained fame through a music show on a private Kolkata TV channel and performed playback singing for films in India and Bangladesh.
