Dhaka, June 6, 2025: The holy Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated across the country tomorrow, Saturday. On this occasion, five Eid congregations will be held consecutively at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The congregations will be conducted under the supervision of the Islamic Foundation, with renowned scholars leading the prayers.
The first congregation will take place at 7:00 AM, led by Dr. Khalilur Rahman Madani, Principal of Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa in Yatrabari. The mukabbir will be the mosque’s khadem, Md. Abdul Hadi.
The second congregation is scheduled for 8:00 AM, with Dr. Maulana Abu Saleh Patowari, a mufassir of the Islamic Foundation, leading as imam. Md. Nasir Ullah will serve as the mukabbir.
The third congregation will be held at 9:00 AM, led by Dr. Mushtak Ahmad, editor of the Translation and Compilation Department of the Islamic Foundation. Md. Billal Hossain will be the mukabbir.
The fourth congregation will take place at 10:00 AM, with Mufti Md. Abdullah of the Islamic Foundation as the imam and Md. Amir Hossain as the mukabbir.
The fifth and final congregation is set for 10:45 AM, led by Maulana Mohammad Noor Uddin, a language teacher in the Islamic Foundation’s Dini Dawah and Culture Department. Md. Zahirul Islam will serve as the mukabbir.
The Islamic Foundation has stated that in case of an imam’s absence, Maulana Md. Shahidul Islam, Assistant Librarian of the Islamic Foundation, will serve as the substitute imam, and khadem Md. Ruhul Amin will act as the substitute mukabbir
