Flight Operations to Middle East from Chittagong Resume Normally

Despite the prevailing tensions between Iran and Israel, flight operations resume normal to the Middle East from Chittagong’s Shah Amanat International Airport. On Tuesday, June 24, all scheduled flights to Middle Eastern destinations departed on time from the airport, with no disruptions reported.

This was confirmed by Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, the Public Relations Officer of Shah Amanat International Airport. He stated that on Monday night (June 23), Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ flight BG127 (Dhaka-Chittagong-Abu Dhabi) was cancelled from Dhaka due to the heightened tensions in the Middle East. However, starting Tuesday morning, all international flights to the Middle East departed from Chittagong as per their designated schedules.
Airport authorities have assured that all necessary measures are in place to ensure the safety and convenience of passengers.
