Gaza, June 26, 2025: At least 79 Palestinians, mostly women and children, were killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza in the past 24 hours, with nearly 400 others injured, according to a report by Qatar-based news agency Al Jazeera.
Among the deceased, 33 people lost their lives near a humanitarian aid distribution center while awaiting assistance. On Thursday morning, fresh Israeli bombardment targeted various parts of Gaza. In northern and central Gaza, at least 13 people were killed in attacks by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). The Al Shifa Hospital and a school in northern Gaza were also targeted in the bombings. In southern Gaza, airstrikes on refugee tents claimed the lives of at least five Palestinians.
Since October 2023, Israel has continued its military operations in Gaza, disregarding international calls for a ceasefire. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, these attacks have resulted in over 56,000 deaths in the past 20 months.
