London, June 11, 2025 : No schedule has been confirmed for a meeting between Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus, currently on a visit to London, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, leading to uncertainty. This was stated by the Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam.
At a press conference in London on Tuesday (June 10), Shafiqul Alam said, “We have learned that Keir Starmer is likely in Canada. A British MP informed us that he is on a visit there. Nonetheless, we are making efforts, and a meeting could happen if schedules align.”

He held meetings with Airbus Executive Vice President Wouter Van Wersch and Menzies Aviation Executive Vice President Charles Wylie. Additionally, he met with British MPs of Bangladeshi origin, Rupa Huq and Apsana Begum, and members of the All-Party Parliamentary Group to discuss Bangladesh-related issues.
