U.S. Vows to Completely Destroy Iran’s Nuclear Capabilities: White House

The White House has declared its intent to completely eradicate Iran’s nuclear capabilities, according to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. Speaking on ABC News’ Good Morning America on Monday, Leavitt expressed confidence in the ongoing U.S. military operations targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
“Yes, we are confident in completely neutralizing Iran’s nuclear capabilities,” Leavitt stated. “The U.S. forces have already initiated strikes, and we have high confidence that we will target the locations where Iran has hidden its enriched uranium.”
She further emphasized, “Our President Donald Trump issued the order for these strikes. He would not have done so without absolute confidence in their success.”
The U.S. military operation, dubbed Operation Midnight Hammer, began Saturday night with direct strikes on Iran’s Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan military and nuclear facilities. This escalation follows Israel’s air campaign against Iran, which started on June 13 amid ongoing nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington. While the U.S. initially refrained from direct involvement, it has now joined the conflict with targeted strikes.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi condemned the U.S. actions, calling the strikes “unforgivable.” The operation has sparked international debate, with Iran vowing to retaliate and the global community closely monitoring the situation.
