Bangladesh-Pakistan T20 Series: Schedule, Dates, and Venue Details

After a disappointing Test and ODI tour in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh bounced back in the T20 format, clinching a 2-1 series victory under Litton Das’s leadership. Following the tour, the Bangladesh team has returned home, but with little time to rest, as they gear up for a three-match T20I series against Pakistan.

The series kicks off on July 20, with the second and third matches scheduled for July 22 and July 24, respectively. All matches will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, starting at 6:00 PM local time.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced an unchanged 16-member squad for the series, retaining the lineup from the successful Sri Lanka tour, where Bangladesh secured their first-ever T20I series win on Sri Lankan soil. Meanwhile, Pakistan arrives without key players Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, with Salman Ali Agha leading the side. The two teams previously faced off in Pakistan, where Bangladesh suffered a 3-0 series defeat. The series, scheduled during the ICC Champions Trophy period, serves as a crucial preparation for both teams ahead of the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup. **Bangladesh T20I Squad:** Litton Kumar Das (Captain), Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Parvez Hossain Emon, Mohammad Naim Sheikh, Towhid Hridoy, Jaker Ali Anik, Shamim Hossain Patowari, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain, Sheikh Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Mohammad Saifuddin. **Pakistan T20I Squad:** Salman Ali Agha (Captain), Abrar Ahmed, Ahmed Daniyal, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Haris (Wicketkeeper), Mohammad Nawaz, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Salman Mirza, Sufiyan Muqeem.
