Three construction workers died after falling from the 9th floor of an under-construction building in the Kotwali area of Chattogram city. The incident occurred around 12:00 pm on Friday, July 18, 2025. The deceased workers have been identified as Fakhrul Islam (26), Md. Rashed (24), and Mohammad Hasan (18).
Kotwali Police Station Sub-Inspector Sheikh Tarikul Islam confirmed the deaths to Prothom Alo. He stated, “The bodies of the three workers were taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital. Their families have been notified, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.”
