Consensus Reached for July Declaration on August 5: Asif Mahmud

Local Government Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan stated that the government is considering issuing the July Declaration on August 5 if political parties reach a consensus.

During the event, the advisor said, “Work is underway regarding the July Declaration. Previously, proposals were collected from political parties, and they have submitted their versions of the declaration to the government. The process is ongoing, and the government is striving to issue the declaration by August 5, provided there is a consensus among the political parties. We hope that, with political agreement, the July Declaration can be presented on August 5.”

The event was attended by former presidents of the Cumilla District Bar Association, Md. Ismail and Kazi Nazmus Sadat, as special guests. The current president of the association, Md.
