law and Order Situation Will Be Controlled at All Costs: Deputy Press Secretary to Chief Adviser


Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad Mazumdar, the Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, has stated that the law and order situation will be brought under control at all costs before the elections. The government is working tirelessly to achieve this goal, and no one will be spared.

He said, “The interim government is making every effort to maintain law and order. Whenever an incident occurs, swift action is being taken.”

He made these remarks on Saturday (April 12) during a meeting with government officials, journalists, and civil society members at the District Commissioner’s conference room, organized by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing. Regarding the Media Reform Commission, he stated that a meeting with the Chief Adviser will be held soon to determine the necessary actions. Arrangements will be made to train law enforcement agencies and election-related personnel to prevent harassment of media workers during the elections.
Senior Assistant Press Secretary Foyez Ahmmad, Assistant Press Secretary Suchismita Tithi, senior government officials from Rajshahi, media personnel, and civil society members were present at the event.
