The caption accompanying the photo, posted by Susmita, read, “Sir, in the eyes.” Susmita is a rising actress in West Bengal’s film industry and is set to star in Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming film, *Laha Gauranger Naam Re*. The photo was taken at Puri Beach in Odisha, where the film’s shooting began on Tuesday.
The shooting of *Laha Gauranger Naam Re* also features actress Shubhashree Ganguly in the role of Binodini, while Jisshu Sengupta appears as Nityananda Prabhu, and Bratya Basu portrays Girish Chandra Ghosh. Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the film spans three different time periods, weaving together the stories of Sri Chaitanya, Nati Binodini, and Girish Chandra Ghosh.
