In the aftermath of the Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crash in Uttara, Dhaka, on July 21, 2025, the identities of 22 victims have been confirmed, and their bodies have been handed over to their families and relatives.
The Health Directorate announced this information through a press release on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. The release further stated that six bodies are currently preserved at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), and one body is at the morgue of Lubana General Hospital and Cardiac Centre. DNA testing is ongoing to facilitate the handover of these bodies to their respective families.
According to the press release, a total of 29 people, including students and pilots, have been confirmed dead so far. However, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the total death toll from the crash stands at 31.
