Bangladesh Begins Asia Cup Preparation on Wednesday

After playing two consecutive bilateral series, the Bangladesh national cricket team took a brief break to unwind. However, with the Asia Cup approaching, the Tigers will kick off their training camp tomorrow (Wednesday). The players are required to report at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla Stadium at 8 AM.

The training camp, starting tomorrow, will continue until August 15. For the first few days, the team will train under Nathan Kelly. After a short break, the Bangladesh team will resume their camp in Sylhet from August 20. Ahead of the Asia Cup, scheduled to begin in September, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has arranged a bilateral series against the Netherlands starting August 30.

Before the series, the cricketers will participate in skill and fitness camps. Earlier, Taskin Ahmed and Liton Das expressed their desire to play an additional series before the Asia Cup, a request the BCB has accommodated. The Netherlands team will arrive in Bangladesh on August 26, with the series commencing on August 30. The three-match T20I series will see the remaining two matches played on September 1 and 3, all to be held in Sylhet. **Bangladesh’s Preliminary Squad for Asia Cup:**
