BNP Delegation Meets Dr. Yunus at Jamuna

A delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) arrived at Jamuna, the official residence of the Chief Adviser of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, to participate in a meeting on Sunday evening, August 31, 2025.

The BNP delegation, led by the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, entered Jamuna at around 7:15 PM. According to Shamsuddin Didar, an official from the media wing of BNP’s chairperson, the delegation includes standing committee members Dr. Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Abdul Moin Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salahuddin Ahmed, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, and Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.

BNP leaders stated that the meeting with the Chief Adviser will focus on discussions regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections, the current political situation in the country, and the July National Charter. A source within BNP also revealed that the party may submit a list to the government identifying individuals within the administration who are still associated with fascist elements.
