Dhaka, August 14, 2025: The Election Commission (EC) of Bangladesh will unveil the roadmap for the upcoming parliamentary elections next week, EC Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced on Thursday. Speaking to reporters at the EC office in Agargaon, Dhaka, he revealed that a meeting with journalists will also be held to share detailed election plans with stakeholders.
Ahmed further disclosed that the EC will deploy teams to gather critical data on 22 registered political parties. Discussions regarding expatriate voters were held on Thursday, with further deliberations planned, and updates will be shared with the media accordingly.
