Pakistan Sets Big Target for Bangladesh in Top End T20 Series

In the Top End T20 Series, the Bangladesh 'A' team struggled with the ball against Pakistan Shaheens. The Bangladeshi bowlers, including Hasan Mahmud and Ripon Mondal, found it difficult to contain the aggressive Pakistani batting lineup, which posted a massive total exceeding 200 runs.

Batting first after winning the toss in Darwin, Pakistan Shaheens scored 227 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Yasir Khan top-scored with 62 runs. For Bangladesh, Hasan Mahmud took one wicket conceding 34 runs.

Pakistan got off to a flying start, with openers Khaja Nafi and Yasir Khan launching an explosive assault. Their aggressive batting laid a solid foundation for the team. The 118-run opening partnership was broken when Nafi was run out for 61 runs off 31 balls. Yasir also scored a fifty, making 62 runs off 40 balls. Batting at number three, Abdul Samad remained unbeaten with 50 runs off 27 balls, while Irfan Khan contributed 25 runs off 12 balls.
