Gazipur Court Grants Two-Day Remand for Seven Accused in Journalist Murder Case**

In Gazipur, a court has granted a two-day remand for each of the seven individuals accused in the murder case of journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin. 

According to court sources, on Saturday afternoon, the seven accused were presented before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Alamgir Al Mamun in Gazipur. The police requested a 10-day remand for each, but after the hearing, the court approved a two-day remand for each accused.

The seven accused are identified as Mizan alias Ketu Mizan, his wife Parul Akter alias Golapi, Al-Amin, Swadhin, Md. Shahjalal, Md. Foysal Hasan, and Sumon alias Sabbir.

Earlier on Saturday, the Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner held a press briefing at his office, where he disclosed the motive behind the murder.

The Officer-in-Charge of Basan Police Station, Shahin Khan, confirmed the court's decision to grant a two-day remand for the accused.

It may be noted that on Thursday night, journalist Asaduzzaman Tuhin was brutally hacked to death in broad daylight in the busy Chandana Chowrasta area of Gazipur city. He was a staff reporter for the daily newspaper *Protidiner Kagoj*.
