The meeting took place on Monday (August 11) from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Gulshan-2.
Mushfiq Us Salehin, Joint Member Secretary of the NCP, confirmed the meeting by sharing a photograph with the media.
During the meeting, Tracy Ann Jacobson and the U.S. Embassy’s Political Counselor Eric Geelan were present. Representing the NCP were the party’s Convener Nahid Islam, Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain, and Senior Joint Member Secretary Dr. Tasnim Zara.
According to sources, the discussion at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence focused on Bangladesh’s current political situation, the upcoming national election, democratic processes, and international cooperation. NCP leaders emphasized the importance of political stability and inclusive elections in the country.
