Dhaka, 07 August 2025 – The newly appointed German Ambassador to Bangladesh, H.E. Dr. Rüdiger Lotz, officially began his diplomatic duties after presenting his credentials to President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed deepening bilateral cooperation in key areas, including democracy and human rights, women’s empowerment, climate action, renewable energy, and expanding trade and investment for mutual benefit.
The discussions underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen their partnership, building on decades of collaboration for shared prosperity and sustainable development.
