Major General Abdul Motalleb Sajjad Mahmud, Director General of Ansar and VDP, announced that approximately 6.5 lakh members of the Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) will be deployed for security duties in the upcoming parliamentary elections. To prepare for this, 1.8 lakh new members have undergone training.
