The Bangladesh Police has transferred and appointed 52 officers to various key positions, including Additional Inspector General of Police (Additional IGP), Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Additional DIG, and Superintendent of Police (SP).
The information was announced through separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday, August 25.
According to the notifications, 12 officers currently serving as Additional IGPs have been promoted to the rank of Additional IGP. Six officers previously promoted to supernumerary positions have been regularized as DIGs. Another notification detailed the transfer of 12 DIGs to different offices. Additionally, a separate notification confirmed the transfer and posting of 14 officers holding the rank of Superintendent of Police.
