Popular Bangladeshi showbiz actor Zahid Hasan and renowned model, dancer, and actress Sadia Islam Mou tied the knot in 1997 after falling in love. The couple, who have two children, have spent 27 years together under one roof. Throughout this long journey, they have stood by each other like shadows, overcoming various challenges without letting go.

Recently, however, the couple’s busy schedules have kept them occupied, and they are rarely seen together at events or gatherings. This led to questions about their relationship during a podcast, where Zahid Hasan was asked if there was any distance in their marital life.

In response, Zahid Hasan said, “We are doing fine. It’s true we don’t often go out together because my shooting schedules often run late into the night. Over the years, due to my shooting commitments, we haven’t been able to attend events together. People who comment might not know that I couldn’t even attend my own brother’s wedding because I had a show for the drama *Bichchu* in Barisal that day. That’s how my life has been. Shooting schedules are fixed in advance, and if an invitation comes up suddenly, it’s hard to attend. Also, when I go to a club, I don’t feel like leaving the conversation. So, Mou usually attends events alone. If she’s not in the country, I try to go.” In the same podcast, Zahid Hasan also brought up the topic of his ex-girlfriend, revealing that Mou is aware of his past relationship and even teases him about it. He said, “My family knows about my previous relationship. Mou sometimes jokes about it and pulls my leg. One day, she suddenly said, ‘Why do you leave these lying around? Keep them safe.’ I looked and saw she was holding a bunch of letters.”

Before his relationship with Mou, Zahid Hasan was involved with another actress, with whom he worked in several dramas. He has kept her letters carefully at home. After their breakup, they never worked together again, and even when they occasionally meet at events, they don’t speak to each other. Zahid Hasan prefers not to comment on her now, stating, “Talking about her would be disrespectful, and I don’t want to do that. I loved her once. Like me, she is doing very well now, and that’s what matters.”
