Dhaka, September 9, 2025: Abdul Hannan Masud, Senior Joint Chief Coordinator of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has urged students of Dhaka University to reflect on who supported them before the significant events of August 5. In a verified Facebook post on Tuesday afternoon, he emphasized the importance of remembering those who stood by the students during tough times and faced consequences for their support.
In his post, Masud wrote, “Oh DU, think before you cast your vote. Recall who you knew before August 5, who stood by your side, who got beaten or jailed while standing up for you in difficult times. Think, and then vote. Those who were hiding before August 5, those who joined the processions of Chhatra League while students were being oppressed by them—think twice before voting for them. Don’t be so shortsighted.”
