Free Online Training for Russian Language Teachers Abroad Begins October 15


Dhaka, September 9, 2025 — A new opportunity has emerged for Russian language educators living outside Russia. The “Online Training for Teaching Russian Abroad – 2025” program is set to begin on October 15 and will run until November 19, offering 32.5 hours of free instruction designed to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.

Organized with support from Rossotrudnichestvo, in collaboration with World of Russian Textbooks and Zlatoust Publishing House, the program will be hosted on the platform (Getcourse system), with live sessions conducted via Zoom.

Participants will gain insights into:

  • Teaching Russian to children and bilingual learners

  • Designing short-term courses for adults

  • Developing online and hybrid learning modules

  • Using modern textbooks and digital tools in the classroom

The course will feature expert-led video lectures, masterclasses, and interactive discussions. Trainers include renowned authors, experienced educators, and heads of successful language schools.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a Russian language teacher residing outside Russia

  • Should not have participated in the 2023–2024 edition of this training

  • Teaching experience required; no specific degree necessary

  • Not open to teachers currently living or working in Russia
