BNP Leader Ishraq Hossain Warns of Police Station Siege Following Student Killing

 

Dhaka:Engineer Ishraq Hossain, a senior leader of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP, has issued a stern warning to the administration regarding the arrest of the real culprits behind the murder of Prime Asia University student Parvez. On Monday (April 21), he shared this warning on his verified Facebook page.

Ishraq Hossain stated, "All those involved in this heinous murder must be brought under the law immediately. While some individuals have already been arrested, if anyone remains out of reach, they must be apprehended without delay. If the administration attempts to obstruct justice in any way, we will mobilize the people of Dhaka to besiege the relevant police stations."

The incident occurred last Saturday afternoon at the university's campus in Banani, where a clash between students of the English and Textile Engineering departments led to the stabbing and death of Textile Engineering student Zahidul Islam Parvez. Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam claimed that Parvez was a member of their organization.
