China Warns Against Trade Deals Conflicting with Its Interests

International Desk: China's Ministry of Commerce has issued a stern warning against trade agreements with the United States that could undermine China's interests. This statement, released on Monday, April 21, was reported by CNN News.

A spokesperson for the Ministry emphasized that China does not support any agreements that harm its interests and is prepared to take strong countermeasures if necessary. This warning comes amidst ongoing trade tensions between the world's two largest economies.

Bloomberg recently reported that the Trump administration is pressuring countries to limit trade with China in exchange for tariff exemptions from the United States.

China's Ministry of Commerce reiterated its firm stance on protecting national rights and interests while strengthening mutual solidarity with global partners. The Ministry warned that any country striking deals at China's expense would face reciprocal countermeasures.
