National Desk: A seven-member delegation from the World Bank visited the Rohingya refugee camps in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
Arriving at 10 AM, they inspected Camp 20 Extension, assessing conditions and services provided to the refugees.
Later, at 11 AM, the team toured the Rohingya Cultural Memory Center in Camp 18, Block E/L-17, operated by the International Organization for Migration. Rohingya artists showcased their cultural heritage through traditional performances.
The visit reflects the World Bank’s ongoing involvement in assessing and supporting humanitarian efforts for Rohingya refugees.
