Dhaka, May 4, 2025 :The government has constituted a committee to review and recommend necessary amendments to the National Export Trophy Policy-2022.
The committee is headed by Sheikh Bashiruddin, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Textiles and Jute, and Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
A notification regarding the formation of the committee was recently issued by the Cabinet Division.
The five-member committee includes Asif Nazrul, Advisor to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment; Adilur Rahman Khan, Advisor to the Ministry of Industries and Ministry of Housing and Public Works; and Sheikh Abdur Rashid, Cabinet Secretary. The Commerce Secretary, Mahbubur Rahman, will serve as the Member-Secretary of the committee.
According to the notification, the committee will evaluate the National Export Trophy Policy-2022 and provide recommendations for necessary revisions to enhance its effectiveness.
