Dhaka, June 4, 2025: The Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (DESCO) has announced that due to capacity enhancement work on the source line of the Bashundhara 132/33 kV grid substation, there will be power outages lasting up to one hour daily in Banani, Baridhara, Joar Sahara, Bashundhara, and Khilkhet areas from June 11 to June 28, totaling 18 days. DESCO has assured that each outage will not exceed one hour.
In a notification, DESCO stated that these temporary power disruptions are necessary for developmental work. The authority has expressed sincere regret for the inconvenience caused to customer.
