Sports Desk, 09 June, 2025 : The excitement among Bangladesh football fans is at its peak as the national team prepares to face Singapore in a crucial Asian Cup qualifier match. Scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, at 7:00 PM at the Dhaka National Stadium, the match coincides with the festive Eid atmosphere. Football enthusiasts are eager to cheer for their favorite team, but the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has issued important guidelines for entering the stadium and enjoying the game.
According to a BFF press release, the match will kick off at 7:00 PM, but the stadium gates will open at 2:00 PM. This means spectators may need to spend over seven hours at the venue. For security reasons, fans are requested not to bring bags, water bottles, or any unnecessary items. Those without tickets are urged not to crowd the stadium gates, as arrangements for live screenings on large screens have been made at various locations in Dhaka.
The BFF has warned that any instances of fake tickets or ticket-related irregularities will face immediate legal action. The presence of law enforcement has been ensured across the stadium premises. Specifically, for those entering through Gate 3, two separate lanes have been allocated from Dainik Bangla and Rajuk Mor—one for pedestrians and the other for vehicles.
No official announcement has been made regarding food arrangements for spectators staying in the galleries for an extended period. However, the BFF has taken unique steps to make the event memorable. Starting one and a half hours before the match, the stadium will host music and entertainment, a first for a single international match in Bangladesh’s football history.
After 1,659 days, international football is returning to Dhaka. The organizers are determined to make this match a memorable event. All eyes are now on Jamal Bhuiyan and his team to see how much joy they can bring on the field.
