According to a report by Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, the attack took place around 12:30 PM on Friday, June 13. Images circulating on social media show thick black smoke rising from the airbase following the strike.

The report states that the base, which houses fighter jets, sustained significant damage. Earlier on Friday, at dawn, the Israeli Air Force conducted another operation targeting Tehran and surrounding areas. The attacks claimed the lives of several high-ranking Iranian officials, including Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, Major General Hossein Salami, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, head of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Base, and at least six nuclear scientists.
