SSC and Equivalent Results Likely to be Published in the Second Week of July

Dhaka, Staff Reporter: The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are expected to be published in the second week of July, likely by July 13, according to Professor Dr. Khandoker Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.
On Wednesday (June 11), he stated that the evaluation of answer scripts is in its final stages. Examiners have already started submitting evaluated scripts to the board, though some scripts are yet to be received. Once all scripts are collected, the process of inputting marks and other related tasks will be completed, after which the final date for result publication will be announced.
The Chairman noted that there was a slight delay in collecting answer scripts this year. However, he assured that examiners submitted the scripts within the stipulated time, and this delay will not significantly impact the result publication. “We are striving to publish the results within 60 days of the examination. There are no major issues,” he added.
This year, approximately 18.78 lakh students participated in the SSC and equivalent examinations. Of these, 14.90 lakh students appeared under nine general education boards, 2.94 lakh under the Madrasah Education Board, and 1.43 lakh under the Technical Education Board. The exams were conducted across 2,291 centers from 18,084 educational institutions nationwide.
Nearly 19 lakh students are eagerly awaiting their results.
