Trump Claims He Saved Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei from ‘Horrible Death,’ Receives No Thanks

U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that he saved Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei from a “horrible and humiliating death” but received no gratitude in return. Trump made this statement in a post on the social media platform Truth Social.

According to Trump, he was aware of the exact location of Khamenei’s hideout but chose not to allow Israel or the U.S. armed forces, described as the world’s most powerful, to eliminate him. He further claimed that during the final stages of a conflict, he forced Israel to call back a large fleet of aircraft headed toward Tehran, which could have been the largest attack of the war, potentially causing massive destruction and loss of Iranian lives.

Trump also revealed that he was working on the possibility of lifting sanctions on Iran, which could have facilitated the country’s rapid economic recovery. However, he halted these efforts due to Khamenei’s “angry and hateful” remarks. Criticizing Iran’s current state, Trump described it as a “devastated, exploded” nation with a crippled economy, a weakened military, and no promising future.

Warning Iran’s leadership, Trump urged them to reintegrate into the global system, stating that failure to do so would worsen their situation. He concluded his statement by saying, “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Peace is the better path!”
