Narayanganj, July 8, 2025 - Authorities in Narayanganj seized 1,836 liters of unauthorized fuel and imposed fines during a raid in Godnail Baripara on Tuesday (July 8). The operation was led by seven executive magistrates.
During the raid, evidence was found of several establishments storing and selling fuel without proper authorization. These businesses failed to present valid invoices or purchase receipts for the sold fuel. Additionally, fines were imposed in five cases for operating without licenses.
The seized fuel included 1,080 liters of diesel, 106 liters of octane, and 650 liters of furnace oil. The confiscated materials have been handed over to Meghna Oil PLC and Padma Oil PLC for safekeeping.
