The Public Service Commission (PSC) of Bangladesh has published the final results of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination. A total of 1,690 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various cadre posts. The announcement was made through a press release issued by the PSC’s public relations wing around 11:30 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025.
According to the press release, out of 1,710 vacant cadre posts for the 44th BCS examination held in 2021, the PSC has provisionally recommended 1,690 candidates for appointment. Due to the unavailability of qualified candidates, 20 posts in technical/professional cadres could not be filled.
The PSC further stated that not all candidates who passed both the written and viva examinations could be recommended for cadre posts. Those who were not selected for cadre positions will be considered for non-cadre posts, subject to the availability of vacant positions and in accordance with existing rules and merit order. The PSC will take necessary steps to recommend these candidates for non-cadre appointments upon receiving requisitions from the government.
