Bangladesh Ambassador to Bahrain, Md. Rois Hasan Sarwar, held a courtesy meeting with Yasser Abdul Rahim Al Abbasi, the Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), at the company’s headquarters.
According to a statement from the Bangladesh Embassy in Manama, the CEO warmly welcomed the ambassador to his office and provided a detailed overview of GPIC’s operations, infrastructure, and its contributions to the regional petrochemical sector.
Following the meeting, the ambassador toured GPIC’s state-of-the-art petrochemical production and manufacturing facilities. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the CEO and GPIC’s management for their warm hospitality and exceptional reception. The ambassador also requested an increase in the recruitment of Bangladeshi workers at the company.
Additionally, he expressed optimism about the potential for enhanced business, trade, and cooperation in the petrochemical sector between Bangladesh and Bahrain in the future.
Several senior GPIC officials were present during the meeting.
