India to Send Burn Specialist Medical Team to Dhaka

Dhaka, July 23, 2025 – The Indian High Commission has announced that a team of burn specialists and nurses, equipped with necessary medical supplies, will soon arrive in Dhaka to assist in the treatment of victims injured in the plane crash at Milestone School and College.

The announcement was made on Wednesday, citing the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. The team will assess the condition of patients recommended for specialized treatment and, if necessary, facilitate further medical care in India. The Indian High Commission also stated that additional medical teams may be sent based on the initial assessment and treatment requirements. On July 21, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences for the lives lost in the Dhaka plane crash and assured support for the affected.
