Zareen Khan Lashes Out at Netizen’s Comment Urging Her to Marry

Mumbai, July 27, 2025: Bollywood actress Zareen Khan, who debuted with the film *Veer* alongside Salman Khan, recently expressed her frustration on social media after a netizen’s comment urging her to “get married” because her “age is catching up.” Known for her striking resemblance to Katrina Kaif in her early career, Zareen has largely stepped away from the big screen but maintains a strong presence on social media, where she frequently shares updates with her fans.

The actress faced backlash after a user commented on her Instagram post, saying, “Get married, your age is catching up.” Infuriated by the remark, Zareen responded with a fiery post, questioning societal pressures around marriage, especially for women. “It’s always assumed that marriage is the only solution to all of life’s problems. But why? Is marriage the entirety of life? Why is this mindset particularly imposed on women?” she wrote.

Zareen further challenged the commenter’s logic, stating, “I read a comment saying, ‘Get married, your age is catching up.’ I want to ask, will marriage make me younger? Will it take me back to childhood? If not, what’s the point of such remarks? I can’t understand why this mentality persists. Is it just in our country, or do women across the world face this pressure about marriage?” In a candid video, Zareen took a sharp jab at the notion of marriage as a cure-all, saying, “Is marriage some kind of magic? I see most marriages today don’t even last more than two or three months. So, no, marriage isn’t the answer to all of life’s problems.”
Her response resonated with many fans, who flooded the comments with support, praising her for calling out outdated societal norms. However, some netizens trolled her, sparking a mixed reaction online. Zareen’s outspoken stance has reignited discussions about the undue pressure women face regarding marriage and societal expectations.
