Dhaka, August 3, 2025: At approximately 6:10 PM today, an incident occurred at House No. 46, Baridhara, J-Block, adjacent to the Coca-Cola intersection under Bhatara Police Station, where two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle threw three cocktails. One of the cocktails exploded, while the remaining two remained unexploded at the scene.
According to eyewitnesses, the motorcyclists were heading from the Coca-Cola intersection toward Bhatara Police Station when they hurled the cocktails. The unexploded cocktails were described as resembling "zarda containers wrapped in black tape."
Immediately after the incident, Bhatara Police and intelligence agency personnel arrived at the scene, taking necessary security measures. The two unexploded cocktails were marked with wooden pieces for safety.
Notably, at around 7:00 PM, the Bomb Disposal Unit arrived and took appropriate action to handle the situation.
