Farewell Meeting of Dutch Ambassador with Chief Adviser

Dhaka, August 6, 2025: The outgoing Netherlands Ambassador to Dhaka, André Carstens, held a farewell meeting with Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday at the state guesthouse Yamuna.

During the courtesy call, Ambassador Carstens praised the ‘July Mass Uprising’ led by ‘Generation Z’ and presented the Chief Adviser with the lyrics and video of a song he composed himself.

Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Abul Kalam Azad Mazumdar, confirmed the details. Also present during the meeting were the Chief Adviser’s Special Envoy for International Affairs, Lutfe Siddiqui, and Chief Coordinator for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Lamia Morshed.
