The National Citizens’ Party (NCP) kicked off its rally to announce the “Manifesto for a New Bangladesh” with an emotional speech by Rabiul Awal, the brother of martyr Imam Hasan Tayeb, who lost his life during the July Revolution. The event began at 5:10 PM on Sunday, August 3, at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka.
In his heartfelt address, Rabiul Awal said, “My brother sacrificed his life for a dream. Today’s rally is to realize that dream. I don’t want any more brothers to lose their beloved siblings, no mother’s heart to be broken, and I want Bangladesh to stand tall with independence.”
Party activists emphasized that the rally is not just a political event but a pledge to fulfill the dreams of the martyrs.
