Three people were killed when a private car overturned on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Sreenagar Upazila, Munshiganj. The accident occurred around 6 AM on Thursday (August 21) in the Solaghar passenger shelter area of the upazila.
Sreenagar Fire Service Station Officer Dewan Azad confirmed the incident. He stated that a high-speed private car traveling from Mawa towards Dhaka overturned, resulting in the deaths of two individuals on the spot. Two others were injured and taken to the hospital, where one was declared dead by doctors. The accident disrupted traffic for about an hour. Highway Police and Fire Service personnel conducted a rescue operation at the scene, after which traffic returned to normal.
