In Natore’s Singra Upazila, a young man was allegedly killed by his father following a dispute over money for drugs. The incident occurred on Saturday evening in Mohishmari village under Chamari Union. The deceased, identified as Shariful Islam (28), was the son of Shahid Mollah, a local timber trader. Shahid has been absconding since the incident. Police have recovered the machete used in the killing.
